With a joint goal of increasing the proficiency of Cummins technicians to perform all required CNG fuel system inspections, Cummins and AFVi are partnering to create AFVi’s Cummins CNG Master Tech Program.
Cummins requires all technicians inspecting or servicing vehicles powered by natural gas to be CNG Master Tech certified. This includes training pieces provided by Cummins directly, and the completion of AFVi’s Cummins CNG Master Tech Program.
AFVi’s Cummins CNG Master Tech Program includes the required training courses (delivered in on-demand e-learning format) and the AFVi CNG Fuel System Inspector Certification Exam (administered securely online). To receive AFVi’s credentials for the Cummins CNG Master Tech Program, you must successfully complete the training courses and pass the independent certification exam with a score of 80% or higher.
When registering, you must provide your Cummins CST number which will be used to provide your certification status to Cummins once you pass the certification exam. AFVi will also notify you individually and provide your certification credentials.
The cost of AFVi’s Cummins CNG Master Tech Program is discounted $1,428 per person and includes all training materials, two opportunities to pass the CNG Fuel System Inspector Certification Exam, and credential documents.
